Post 5 : Changes to my study program

Welcome, this time I will talk about Changes to my study program, I begin:

My experience in the faculty has ok because I have had good professors, but with a bad infrastructure, quite a few rooms don't have heating that is a problem in winter due to the cold weather, the next problem is university style tables, it is useful but they are too small to have a computer above there table, on the other hand, I feel that there is a lack of a space where paper or cardboard models can be made in an closed space and not in the roofed courtyard, large amount of dust that is generated there should, also be a safe place to keep the models and more lockers in the faculty because they always take a lot of materials and tools with them.

 

I would like to reduce the number of subjects per semester because the taller always exceeds the credits it is required to receive, which makes it a normal problem for everyone in the career, even if this should not happen because we have less time for the rest of the subjects.

 

I have seen that depending on the section you take; they teach you certain topics, resulting in some students being more forward thinking than others and, to the contrary, others are behind with the contents hindering some group work and to the personal teaching phase by having to advance faster to reach the basic knowledge required in another subject.

    i also think that about the chairs , the computer didint fit in those mini tables

    I think the same, all sections of the branches should teach the same thing, or give the same tools for the future.

    I agree with the problems of sections, sometimes you feel less preparated compared with other studients of differents section.

Your best holidays

  Hello, my best holidays were in 2019, I was 15 years old, I traveled with my family in summer, we went to a campsite in Curanipe for 3 days, I really liked that place because it was quiet and calm. Also had many activities as bands, singers, bingo and an big fair, but, in my case, I liked your beach despite is not so pretty… Even so I prefer this beach.   In the campsite I observed the beach while sitting nearby the campfire in the night and in the morning too, although in the night only the sea could be heard. For my experience and as a rule, the most moment for observe the sea is in the afternoon for the sunset. Other activity was a circus near the beach, I went with part of my family, and I had a good time, the circus was funny. These holidays were my last vacations before the pandemic and the last with my grandfather, the latter is the most important reason for because I really liked that holiday.

My dream job

 My dream job I chose to study architecture because I found very relevant the architecture in the planning and design of buildings and cities, be on a street with tree is always nice, walk without bumping into other people or simply observing the facades of buildings, at the end, this is a relevant topic and for that reason I would like to work in urban planning, however, in my years of study at the university also I found the technical side of architecture very interesting, so that would also be an option for me.   To achieve my mission, the main skills I need are representation (architectural drawing), reading technical material, critical thinking, problem solving, social awareness and teamwork, in my opinion, the university addresses these skills well. Thinking about work and summarizing, I hope to work in urban planning in my city, Chillán, or at least nearby, and to have a balanced schedule with my salary.
